A few words about us

Our identity & reason for existence:

SITS is the first South African based Forklift Assembly Plant that will manufacture (assemble) 100% of all forklifts within the country, with clients based in South Africa as well as Southern Africa, SADC (export market).

The intended forklift assembly plant will assemble forklifts from grassroots level, with all materials sourced locally. This Business Model will ensure the creation of employment in the region throughout the value chain, i.e. job created directly at SITS and job created at our supplier’s operations

At present, 100% of all the forklifts used in the South African market are imported. SITS seeks to change this reality by becoming the first 100% locally based forklift assembly (manufacturing) plant in South Africa, supplying to clients within and outside South African borders.

SITS intends to start a forklift assembly plant to assemble five standard models. The plant will also be manufacturing custom-made forklifts as per requirements but meeting all SABS standards. This will be on per need basis. The Financial Projections Model only focused on the five standards models.

The forklift Automotive Machinery Industry has been in existence for over 100 years and still contributes significantly to the economic performances of many economies around the world. It has become a formidable multi-billion-rand industry that continues to grow even in tough economic conditions.

This is simply because every industry, to an extent, does rely on the delivery and handling of products. Diversifex established SITS Equipment Group for the purpose of manufacturing forklifts in South Africa to service the clients of Diversifex.

SITS will establish a manufacturing plant in Richards Bay.

Currently, the operations Diversifex span across three provinces (Gauteng, Kwazulu-Natal and Mpumalanga). This was largely driven by customer demand and the drive to be closer to our client’s operations to improve on client experience and effectively serving their requirements.
